Zoe Australasian Blog Hop

Hi!
If you've landed here from Jo's Close to My Heart Craftroom you're on the right track!

This month is all about Zoe, the newest collection from CTMH. I've done a gorgeous layout and some cards.

These are the last 2 of the 11 pages I've been able to make from one Zoe paper packet (with added Kraft and White Daisy cardstocks). 11 pages!

This is my husband and I celebrating our 8th anniversary with our traditional pizza and a movie. I used the Handwritten Print stampset with Slate and Glacier to stamp the title on the right hand page. To make it even easier to line up, I used only 3 or 4 letters at a time with my 3x3 block. A few Pink Enamel Gems helps accent the 8th part. :)
My husband and I are creatures of habit. Somehow, somewhere along the way, our anniversary tradition has become pizza and a movie. Our 8th anniversary was no exception. La Porchetta garlic bread, beer, Coca-Cola, and a large meatlovers is "our usual". This year's movie is Terminator Genisys.
I still have some small scraps to use, so what better than some cards? First up, a sweet lil sunburst card. I used this lil stamp and fussy cut before sticking down with some foam tape. I further accented it with some of the gorgeous new glacier thick twine and itty bitty black & gray sparkles. The smoothie cardstock is embossed with the Dot folder for some added texture.
A little trick for using thick twine on your cards: cut a length of twine just a bit longer than what you'll see on the front of your card. (The white bit of this card is about 5" wide so I cut my twine roughly 6" long.) Use some washi tape to hold the ends and stick down to the backside and finish assembling your card. Tie a bow and use a little blop of liquid glass to adhere it to the front of your project. This saves bulk and you've also got more twine to play with!

Then, a Christmas card! I dug through my stash and settled on the Frame Flair and Yuletide Greetings stampsets. I haven't used either of them for ages! After some stamping and fussy cutting, I used embossing folders to emboss it twice with Dots and Diamonds before dovetailing the banner ends, and added some shimmer trim and enamel dots to finish.

Thanks for stopping by. To recreate these projects and more, follow the links in my materials list below or contact your consultant.
