Workshops Your Way

Change is in the air and it's called Workshops Your Way!

Currently, there's two types of workshop kits in my shop. There's the well-loved Workshops On The Go (wotg) and the brand new Workshops Your Way (wyw). So... What's the difference? Let's have a look at the Zoe WOTG Scrapbooking kit and the Charlotte WYW kit.

WOTG kits include a full paper packet (a mix of B&T papers and cardstocks), extra sheets of cardstock, a couple packs of embellishments, an exclusive stampset (not for purchase outside the kit), and printed full color instructions. The kit makes a minimum of 4 traditional pages with lots of leftover pieces.

WYW kits include a full paper packet (a new mix of B&T papers plus cut apart PML cards), a few sheets of cardstock, and a couple packs of embellishments. The instructions are a pdf download and there's no stampset included. The kit makes a minimum of 6 traditional pages, 2 PML pages, and 9 cards with leftover pieces.

Why the change? Different strokes for different folks! CTMH have realized that not everyone wants to buy a kit with an included stampset, so they've started offering the WYW kits. If you love stamps that coordinate with your workshop kits, don't fret. There are stampsets (and Thin Cuts!) that coordinate with the new WYW kits that are available for purchase separately!

No more wondering if the WOTG kit is for you if you don't love the stamps included. With WYW you can choose to purchase the stamps if you wish! You can purchase the WYW kit with the coordinating stamps and Thin Cuts, or you can just buy the stamps. Win win all around!

January's theme in my studio is Charlotte. We're making the full Charlotte WYW kit over 2 workshop sessions. Why 2 sessions? Let's be real. When you can get out of the house and indulge in your crafting TWICE? Mumma's gonna get out of the house and indulge twice! ;)

The first session is cutting the entire kit according to the instruction cutting guide, and assembling all 6 traditional pages. The second session is assembling the 2 Picture My Life pages and the 9 cards. When those are all done, there's still heaps of pieces left over. I've squeezed out 2 traditional pages and 4 cards from my leftover bits!

Aren't these pages gorgeous?
Weddings, babies, little girls, heritage photos, family trees, vintage costume shop dress up photos, anniversaries, formals, kitchen teas, bridal showers, they all work beautifully with Charlotte!

Charlotte WYW is coming up on the 23rd and 30th. Bookings are ESSENTIAL and close 7pm January 5.
