If you've landed here from Mez's Craft Room, you're in the right spot.
The blog hop this month features the beautiful delicate Charlotte suite.
I've used the Workshops Your Way kit and had heaps of leftover bits. I really like squeezing every drop out of a kit and have challenged myself to see what I can create from my scraps!
I've created this layout from my scraps, adding in some cardstocks to bulk it out.
If the design looks familiar, you may recognize it from the Jubilee WoTG kit.
For the Me & You title, I used leftover bits from my Charlotte sticker sheets. I decided to trace around them with my black pen to make them stand out. I also added some clusters of chipboard and gold puffies for more texture.
This part of the page was meant to be a photo space. I decided to make it into a journal box instead. A bit of chipboard and a puffy later and voila! Perfect space to write down and document what happened in the photos.
Switching gears a little bit, I made this sweet card. I wanted to introduce more colors into the Charlotte palette and I think it worked quite well.
I paired up some green cardstock scraps with the Springtime Wishes stampset and Thin Cuts. The green leaves and bit of honey ink really lift the softer tones of the Charlotte papers! Just because Charlotte is a soft delicate paper packet doesn't mean you can't oomph it up with other colors. ;) Sapphire happens to look very nice mixed in with Charlotte for a blokey card or page.
