Regatta is a refreshingly beautiful rustic nautical themed collection.

It's one of 3 limited edition collections from Seasonal Expressions 1 expiring April 30th!

I love the blend of colors, patterns, and textures in this collection! For me, it screams "beach/yacht club wedding", little boys, big boys, outdoor adventures, babies, little girls, big girls, travel, and plenty of options for cardmaking.

I really love the origami boat paper and wanted to use it on as many cards as possible. That's where my trusty Wishes Card Confidence book came into play. There's heaps of beautiful designs and I had a ball choosing which I'd use. :)

When I'm in a creative rut, I reach for my books and flick through until I find a design I like. Why reinvent the wheel when I don't have to, right?

These are a few of the cards I came up with! I used the full collection to make these: Regatta paper packet, Regatta complements, My Anchor stampset, My Anchor Thin Cuts, and coordinating inks. Here we go!

Card #1 - Lots of stamping in heaps of colors

Card #2 - A bit of stamping and thin cuts

Card #3 - I stamped and thin cut a few little boats and added them to the card front.

Card #4 - A cluster of stamping and Kraft complements

Card #5 - Stamping, thin cuts, and complements accented with enamel heart

Voila! I've now got a pile of cards that are a bit more on the masculine/generic side to add to my stash. Super cute eh? I hope this inspires you to think outside the box and tweak your favorite Regatta paper into something beautiful
