AHSC 247 + Chelsea Gardens

This has been a crazy fortnight full of image sorting, editing, resizing, printing, sorting again, and scrapbooking. Check out what we did at Camp here!
It's been very nice to sit down at home and get back into cardmaking. Bring on the sketch challenge for AHSC #247!

My order arrived on Monday and I couldn't wait to crack into my new Chelsea Gardens papers! I decided to pair the paper packet and coordinating cardstocks with two stampsets and added in some purple to liven it up.
I stamped the flowers in Archival Black ink before using my Clear Shimmer Brush and three different inks to paint them in. Using archival black means I can paint over it without runs or bleeding.
I squished my inkpads a few times to get ink on the lids. I used my shimmer brush to pick up this ink and then color in my flowers and stems. Using the shimmer brush leaves a subtle sparkle in the finished design.

To make this card, I used these materials. Trimmer, Versamat, Bone Folder, Stamping Starter Kit, Adhesive Runner, White Card Value Pack, Chelsea Gardens Paper Packet and Coordinating Cardstock, Chelsea Gardens Cardmaking Thin Cuts Bundle, Many Congratulations and Angel Policy Stampsets, White Daisy Exclusive Cardstock, Clear Shimmer Brush, Glacier Sweet Leaf Eggplant and Archival Black Exclusive Inks.

  1. Pretty card! I love how you used the flower stamp to fill the vertical panels--lovely coloring and card layout.
