I like this sketch. It was a great starting point for my card. :) I decided to use the diagonal lines as a feature instead of an accent.
I pulled out my bag of scraps and cut a few into different widths. I stuck them to my card base and trimmed the extra bits off before I started the stamping. A few different stampsets were calling me and they blended nicely. The inks coordinate with the colors in the floral paper strip.
Sometimes going simple is best. I'm teaching this in my next cardmaking class. I think my ladies will enjoy it!
To make this card, I used these materials. Trimmer, Versamat, Bone Folder, Stamping Starter Kit, Adhesive Runner, MyAcrylix Stampsets, Kraft New England Ivy and White Daisy Exclusive Cardstocks, Gold Foil paper, Beary Christmas Paper Packet, Glacier Ruby Canary Fern and Whisper Exclusive Inks, Red Enamel Gems, Gold Sequins.
