Sketch 335 AHSC
Yep. Still using up these flowers! This is the first version I made using up scraps of Chelsea Gardens Paper* and Outdoor Denim Cardstock* plus random bits of bling from my stash.
Well..... I liked it so much I decided to turn it into a kit for my Card Buffet workshops! 😁
I used a piece of Into the Wild Paper* for the base mat of my card, then a strip of Chocolate Cardstock*, and a strip of White Daisy Cardstock for the top.
I made a dot with a black pen then I used New England Ivy, Fern, and Heather* Exclusive Inks to stamp the leaves and dots. You can see it where the New England Ivy leaves touch tips. Zoom in on the Fern leaves. I inked up my stamp and lightly ran it across the ink pad to get that scuffed look. Try it!
The leaves and dots come from the Blossom Cardmaking Stampset*.
The purple flower is from the A Budding Friendship Stampset*.
Years ago I stamped three full 12x12 sheets of White Daisy cardstock with these flowers in various inks and fussy cut them. They were in a small box and I unearthed them a while back. Gotta use em up! This card uses one stamped in Smokey Plum* and Black Exclusive Inks. It's attached using Foam Tape.
After placing the flower on the stamped strip, it needed something else to stand out. Time for the bags of bling! I picked some Silver Sequins and White Dots.
The bottom of the card looked a bit naked so I added the sentiment from I Adore You Stampset*.
To finish off the card, I stamped the backside and signed my name. The card simply isn't properly done until the backside is done!
I love the Stamped with Love Stampset* for the back of my cards.
It's no longer available so I also use the Angel Policy Stampset for the back of my cards.
To make this card, I used my stash of retired CTMH papers and stamps, plus my Basic Toolkit: (Versamat, Trimmer, Scissors, Ruler, Adhesive Runner, Foam Dots/Foam Tape, Stamping Starter Kit), White Card Value Pack, Exclusive Cardstocks, Angel Policy Stampset, Exclusive Inks. *Retired/discounted/WSL items.
I'd love it if you'd leave a comment below and pin my project before you pop over to the sketch here and share your creations!
