As You Grow - Cardmaking

Feeling very fragile today. If you hadn't heard already, my Daddy died from covid on August 11 in Seattle. His funeral was September 10 and burial September 11. Due to international border closures, no guarantee of permission to exit and reenter Australia, prohibitively expensive flights (well over $100k for 2 return fares in economy), expensive mandatory 2 week hotel qurantine ($3,700/person), and the very real likelihood of Australia's borders slamming shut entirely, we couldn't go back for his services. We can't risk financial ruin while being stuck overseas.

I said goodbye to my Dad via the hospital's video call app. I said goodbye to my Dad via a 2.5 page series of memories that my cousin read out during his service. I watched my Dad's funeral by livestream. I wasn't able to watch his burial due to the remote cemetery's lack of phone coverage.

To keep myself busy last night while waiting for pictures of Dad's burial to come through, I made these 3 cards plus some kits.

Thanks A Bunch

Thank You Candle
