Summer has been given her notice and Autumn is rapidly settling in. It's a time for dreamin' big and what better than the Dreamin' Big blog hop for some inspiration?

Dreamin' Big is our beautiful paper packet for March.

It's a fresh take on flowers and bugs with some beautiful unique autumn-tone colors. I created a card and a layout using this beautiful range and the coordinating Thin Cuts. Don't forget, all current Thin Cuts and Thin Cut Bundles are 25% off this month only!

I created this sweet little birthday card for my card buffets. It's perfect for nearly any birthday! I chose the flower side of the paper to be face up. If you flipped it over to the bug side, you've just changed it for a masculine birthday. Hallelujah for double sided paper! I used the stampset and fussy cut by hand the little butterfly as I didn't have the coordinating thin cut set on the day. Using thin cuts are much more enjoyable than fussy cutting!

I had my eye on this layout in the Magic book for quite a while now and I didn't know what to do with all the circles. I put off doing this layout as I couldn't get my head around it. Then, at an all day workshop, I had a brain burp and thought "Just use something that's not a circle!"

I saw the butterflies in the stampset and decided to stack them up on my page.

I stamped and thin cut each butterfly twice. The first is stuck straight to the page. I used the circle from our Welcome Home Wreath kit to help me put my butterflies in the right spots. Using a large dinner plate or cake pan works just as well.

The second butterfly is attached to the first with a bit of foam tape for a sense of height. I folded the wings upwards to add a bit more oomph. There's also some sequins scattered throughout for a bit of sparkle.
