For this hop, we've chosen to feature our creations made with the Make Waves collection.

At first glance, you might totally dismiss this as for use on little girl's layouts only. WRONG! Back that thought train up a sec and hear me out. I am a big kid at heart. When I saw this packet, I flipped out and lost my ever loving mind. MERMAIDS! WITH RED HAIR! In this paper packet! Seriously, I shrieked like the inner 5 year old that I am had just won a squillion gummy bears. (No shame.)

The first movie I remember seeing in cinema was The Little Mermaid in 1989. I was seven and it. was. my. jam. I am an 80s-90s Disney kid and Ariel was the bomb. I liked the movie so much that I wanted to dress as her for halloween in 3rd grade. My mom made me an outfit complete with tail, fins, and seashells and I rocked it. Flash forward to October 2017. There was a Disney singalong at the movies. I hauled myself out of bed on a rainy Saturday morning for The Little Mermaid. You better believe that I quoted and sang throughout the whole thing!

When this packet arrived in our consultant previews, I lost my ever loving mind. I had the *perfect* papers to scrapbook my singalong experience! And I threw in some copies of my costume from 3rd grade. (Don't ask about the hair, bad idea at the time, hilarious now.)

For our Scrapbook Camp in January, I was in charge of creating demonstrating and teaching our campers how to make their name tags.

I came up with this design using various thin cuts, stampsets, and the make waves papers. You can take the more subtle papers and turn them into something stunning! The memories/camera stampset is from the New Consultant Kit.

I then used my tag as an embellishment on my layout after I got my camp photos developed. No point in wasting my tag!
