Everything was set out and ready to go. All the card designs were precut and in baskets.
The stamps needed were on the blocks in the baskets.
Inks, star punches, Cuttlebug and embossing folders were all stacked up just waiting to be used.
I even made a pretty lil banner to decorate the room and put on our Christmas lights. It truly was a relaxing enjoyable crafting environment! All the cards are super easy to replicate. All you have to do is take all the pieces from a bag, stamp, cut, and emboss a few bits, then assemble following the sample given. 10 cards in 4 hours (along with lunch, afternoon tea, and shopping time) is easily doable.
About halfway through the session, we stopped for lunch. I brought out this afternoon tea platter of spiced apple cake, rice crackers with crinkle cut cheese and hummus, and vanilla yogurt cups with honeyed blueberries. We nibbled as we went and it was soooooo good. I provided cups of coffee or tea as we needed them.
If you've never stamped before, don't worry. I show you just how to dive in and get inky! It's super easy with the clear My Acrylix blocks and stampsets.
My lovely customer Rose came over and we had a very enjoyable time. We discussed anything and everything while she made her 10 cards. Here she is working on a design I created.
We had so much fun yesterday. And on Monday I get to do it all over again for my lovely customer Michelle! That's right, my Card Buffets aren't just here in my studio. I can come to you!
