Bear Hugs CTMH Australasian Blog Hop
This hop centers on our adorable cheeky new stamp of the month called Bear Hugs (S1907).
There's 17 different bits in this stampset that you can mix and match to create heaps of cards and layouts. Here's what I've made!
To make this project, I used my basic toolkit plus these materials. Click through or contact your consultant to purchase. Basic Toolkit: (Versamat, Trimmer, Scissors, Ruler, Adhesive Runner, Foam Dots, Stamping Starter Kit), White Card Value Pack, Into the Wild Paper Packet, Sapphire Kraft and White Daisy Cardstocks, LePen, S1907 Bear Hugs - July SoTM and Angel Policy Stampsets, 5" x 6" My Acrylix® Block, New England Ivy and Espresso Exclusive Inks, and Doily Thin Cut. *Retired/discounted/WSL items

Mother's Day Layout
The other day I posted a bit about using a thin cut to cut a shape instead of using a Cricut cartridge (I don't have a Cricut).
I used that thin cut set to cut several shapes for my Mother's Day layout. Some were stamped first, some were cut straight from patterned paper.
The blue and gray polka dots were stamped then cut. The multicolor floral was also stamped first (using another set) then cut. The bow was fussy cut by hand.
I had another stamped floral banner so I used it here with the lovely Stitched Flowers and added leaves with banners. Why not? 😉
A second stamped polka dot fit here in this cluster.
These striped banners were also stamped then cut.
Edit: thanks to Georgia for the clear shot of my layout at Fun Day! Pattern is from MIFYH v3, one of my favorite sketch books.
The papers used are from the Sweet Girl paper packet, plus assorted coordinating cardstocks, inks, thin cuts, and embellishments.

Ink Update
At long last, I have an update on the new redesigned ink pads.
THEY ARE HERE!

This new design is magnetic! Yes, magnetic!
Easy to open, easy to use, easy to close. YAY! No more struggling to open your inks, no more spending half the workshop opening inks, no more having your husbands open inks for you. These are the same quality same great formula inks we know and love. They're simply in a new housing.
Right now, the only colors available in this new packaging are the following.
The rest of the colors are coming shortly. As the ink pad housing has dramatically changed, the supplier that makes our ink pads has had to change their entire production line. That takes some time to put in place. Watch this space for updates as to when more colors are available.
