Christmas Craft Bookings Open Now!

Christmas Craft Workshops have been announced and bookings are open! Bookings are essential!

Contact me ASAP to book your place as spaces are limited.

You MUST book and pay for your spots early!

As all kits are ordered in from overseas, late bookings are not accepted. Please read each event description carefully as your payment must be received by me before the stated time. Late bookings not accepted. I'll say it again, late bookings are not accepted!

Why not? That's now how I roll. For example: let's say you want to go on holiday to Bora Bora in 3 months time for Christmas. You don't just rock up to the airport with a fistful of cash wanting to go to Bora Bora and expect to have everything available. That'd be ludicrous! You have to book and pay for your ticket in advance, get your passport and visas in advance, get your top up immunization jabs done in advance, luggage bought and clothing packed in advance. Then, you rock up at the airport early on the day to check in, clear customs and immigration, and be at your gate ready to board your flight. You do the prep beforehand.

The same applies for ALL my events! You book and pay for your spot, plus any necessary toolkit items, in advance. I order all workshop items in, book the venue, coordinate the catering, print instructions, and prepare the kits. When the workshop day comes, you arrive at my studio and find your prepared kit waiting just for you.

Bottom line? I do not carry extra kit materials on hand "just in case". I order materials in specifically for each workshop, and only for those that have booked and paid before the deadline. I order from the US and we all know it can take WEEKS for parcels to arrive.

Anyone wanting to participate in my workshops will book and pay for their spots in advance.

Scrapbooking Basics

A lot of my workshops are for crafters that have a bit of card or page making experience already. For my lovelies who aren't experienced in scrapbooking, I've got you covered.

I'm starting a new 4 part beginner scrapbooking course in September! This is a super easy basic crash course in scrapbooking featuring the four Fundamentals paper collections. Simple easy paper cutting for super easy beautiful scrapbook pages. No stamping, no complicated steps, just beautiful papers and embellishments combined to make stunning pages.

Come along to these beginner's scrapbooking workshops and you'll leave with beautiful pages ready for photos, extra products to customize your pages as you like, plus all the confidence needed to jump into any of my other workshops! You'll learn about the range of papers and cardstocks I work with, the different types of embellishments, and what a "sketch" is. Plus you'll learn how to maximize your papers and how to cut them according to CTMH directions. You'll also get to create from the range of different pattern books I use. This truly is a crash course in scrapbooking from start to finish!

Keep reading to see the four different workshops. Scrapbooking Basics, Adventure, Enchantment, and Whimsy. Four beautiful paper suites, four beautiful workshops. In order to help you find your feet with scrapbooking, space at my studio table for these workshops is limited to just 3 per workshop. That's right, only 3 people per workshop. You get hands on help in a small comfortable setting. First in is best dressed!

To get the most from these workshops, you'll need to bring your own basic scrapbooking toolkit: 12" paper trimmer, ruler, grid mat, and adhesives (tape runner and glue dots). These toolkit items are essential for all my workshops. If you don't have them, place an order on my website for them, OR let me know which you need and I'll add them to your workshop booking. They'll be waiting for you on the day.

I can't wait for these workshops to start. I love scrapbooking and I am so excited to share these pages with you!

Operation Smile Fundraiser

My studio is overflowing with limited edition card buffet kits. In order to clear out my studio and make way for new card kits, I'm holding a fundraiser for Operation Smile!

Close To My Heart is partnered with Operation Smile™, an organization that provides free, life-changing surgery that repairs smiles and reshapes lives, one child at a time. Since 2008, Close To My Heart has provided support to change the lives of over 1,500 children and their families. Your support of Close To My Heart makes a big difference in the life of a child.

Come along and make a pile of cards while supporting this special charity. This is the last time these designs will be available! This is how the day will work. Everyone makes 5 cards, which is included in the $20 workshop fee, then we'll break for lunch. After lunch, you can create additional cards for $2 each, with $1 being donated. You can make as many additional cards as you like! Now is the time to stock up and replenish your greeting card stash before the silly season starts in earnest.

It takes $300AUD to change a child's life with life saving surgery. At the end of the day, I'll tally up how many cards were made and annouce the total donation amount. You can further the donation amount by purchasing the beautiful True Love - Operation Smile stampset ($7 donation) or an Operation Smile tshirt ($10 donation).

Want to support this cause but can't attend on the day? You can still contribute to the donation tally. News flash!

During the month of June, we’re offering great deals on bundles of discounted Close To My Heart products every weekend! Check my website each Saturday during June to find a new set of bundles. New Workshop!

Well, it's SUPPOSED to be cold now in Queensland! She hasn't gotten the message yet, it's time to chill down and for us to bundle up. #WinterIsComing

This is an in-depth hands on crash course in scrapbooking the CTMH way. You'll complete a *full* 34 page album using the beautifully versatile Fundamentals range! Fundamentals covers all four of the CTMH color families: Adventure, Basics, Enchantment, and Whimsy. For this workshop, you get to choose your kit to work with!
