Memories layout
This month got off to a rocky start. My husband's grandmother died very quickly. We had two trips to country Queensland in a week to say our goodbyes and then to farewell her with a beautiful graveside and church services.
My family does crazy pretty well by now. This isn't the first family funeral I've been to! I took pictures to remember the day by and made this layout to feature them. Scrapbooking a funeral might sound a bit morbid to you. To me, it's a family occasion that should be remembered for what it is, saying our earthly goodbyes to our beloved Nanni.
Out of respect for the clan, I've not put the completed layout up to view. Grief is a very private matter and it's not my place to share such moments publicly without permission.
To make this layout I've used the following materials. Falling For You paper packet, Basics cardstocks, White Daisy cardstock, Trimmer, Versamat, Adhesive Runner, Ruler, Make It From Your Heart volume 2 pattern 7.

New Workshop!
I sent out a feedback survey earlier this month and based on the responses, it's time to shake things up a bit here in my studio. Enter, new workshops! The first one is a new spin on Scrap Your Stash.
Whether you're a newbie or seasoned pocket scrapbooker, this workshop is for you!
February 15 9-11am. Cost is $10 cash, payable on arrival. RSVP by 7pm February 13.
At the start, I'll be teaching the Picture My Life pocket scrapbooking style. Everyone will receive 2 Picture My Life memory protectors plus an assortment of 10 Picture My Life cards to use.
After that it's time to scrap your stash! We've all got a stash of papers, stickers, embellishments, etc that we've been hoarding for "the perfect project". It's time to use what we have! Repeat after me: Consume, don't collect!
SYS is designed to show a new layout design idea and to incorporate that into your current project, whatever you're working on.
Bring whatever you're currently working on, indulge in a slice of fresh homemade cake, a cuppa or two, and work on those projects.
Spaces for each session are limited to 5 people. Contact me now on CreatingwKD@outlook.com for more details and to book in!

Bring your supplies and get stuck in to creating the 2 layouts I've selected, OR work on your own designs.
2 hours = yummy nibblies, a cuppa or two, and table space to work on your beautiful creations. All for only $10!
Not a traditional scrapbooker? No worries! Cardmakers, pocket scrapbookers, and digital divas are all welcome to join us in scrapping their stash.

My mother posted this on my wall yesterday. (It's like she's seen my studio table recently!)
