My Anchor

I am loving my new My Anchor stampset and My Anchor Thin Cuts! They are so cute and easy to use that I've been on a roll creating goodies lately.

I saw this card a while back and initially thought I'd recreate it using Springtime Wishes.

Then.... I thought about using My Anchor instead. I'm always being asked for boyish designs. A few minutes later, this is what I've come up with!

A few stamps, some die cutting, and easy assembly. You can't get much easier than this! You could change this up and use hearts instead of anchors, or use flowers and change the sentiment. Happy crafting!

Products used: White Card Value Pack, White Daisy Exclusive Cardstock, Glacier Flaxen Slate Sapphire Ruby Exclusive Inks, Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors, Spritz, Scrubber, My Anchor stampset, My Anchor Thin Cuts, My Acrylix® Blocks, Adhesive, Foam Tape.

White Pines Blog Hop

Welcome to the White Pines Australasian Blog Hop! If you've arrived here from Shaunna Richard's Passionate About Pages, you're in the right spot!

I've been having quite a bit of fun with White Pines lately! I've made heaps of items from ONE White Pines paper packet. These are some of my favorites!

As Christmas 2015 hasn't happened yet, these 2 layouts are blank. I like having pages done early so all I have to do after Christmas is edit my photos, print, trim, stick them down and add some journaling. I really like the variation in colors that this packet offers. I added in some sheets of Kraft cardstock to balance things out.

With the scraps left from my layouts, I made this Advent Calendar! I'll soon be hanging this up in my living room.

Like most adults, I'm a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG fan of the magical yummy sanity sustaining beverage called COFFEE. I have a favorite reusable tumbler and I like to change up the inside liner periodically. For Christmas, I made this one using Kraft cardstock, a 3"x4" White Pines PML card, a scrap of fussy cut paper, and an array of stickers.
When done, I simply popped the new paper liner inside my cup, screwed it all together and poof!
No more getting my name or drink wrong! :D

Lastly, I've made this pretty little card. I kept the design simple by matching the Glacier ink to the Glacier paper strip, and accented with clusters of embellishments. It's enough dimension to be visually appealing and tactile, while still being flat enough to go in a regular envelope. (Because, postage.)

That wraps it up for White Pines here in my studio. Before you hop around the block, I'd love it if you'd leave a comment!

I used the following products to make these projects. New Card Design

Looking for a card that's got real wow factor? Something the recipient will absolutely love and keep for a long time? Something that lil bit different that will turn heads?

Why not send them a bouquet of flowers?
When they open the bouquet, there's a hidden message.
You could make this card into a gift by sticking a gift card, or voucher on the back with a glue dot. Or, tuck a small flipflap on the back to hold money. Two birds with one stone? Perfect!

You could even make a bunch for a unique party invitation using this stampset, or just as a bouquet for someone who is allergic to real flowers. The variations are endless!

Isn't this adorable? The inside is customizable with any message you like, and the flowers are customizable with any of my 21 different ink colors. It looks much harder to make than it actually is. It's very beginner friendly!

This week's card design is the flowerpot card. I'm teaching this here in my studio all week. I'm also taking custom orders (details to come).
Contact me to learn more and to make your own little pot of flowers!

Love the look and want to make your own flower pot card? Here's what I've used: Kraft and White Daisy cardstocks, Blossom zipstrip, trimmer, nonstick microtip scissors, Versamat, adhesive, bone folder, 3x3" My Acrylix block, spritz, scrubber, Black Honey Sweet Leaf Topiary Lagoon Smoothie and Cotton Candy Exclusive Inks, A Budding Friendship stampset, and Framed stamp of the month (coming in August).

A Glittery Morning

Oh what a fun morning here at Crafty Camp!

My lovely mate and new customer Claire came over for an early session of Christmas Craft - O Holy Night Christmas Card Workshop.
This is the design we worked from today.
It's a wee bit hot here in my home so we got crafty outside in my back yard. Hello sunshine!
Claire's workshop kit included the following: 12 Colonial White bulk cards and envelopes, 2 sheets Kraft cardstock, 2 sheets Chocolate cardstock, 2 sheets Colonial White cardstock, a 3x3 block, the O Holy Night stampset, a roll of gold shimmer trim, and a packet of gold sequins.
I had a super fancy nice set of instructions made up but kinda forgot to print them. Instead, I wrote them out by hand and relayed them to Claire as we went. It worked!
Claire cut, stamped, embossed, and assembled everything. I assisted with the Cuttlebug embossing, and relayed instructions, and that was it. Everything else she did. Took about 2 hours but we did it! 12 custom hand made Christmas cards! GO CLAIRE! Did I mention that this was her first official workshop!?
Stamping away.
Hard at work.
Finished project!
Thank you for joining me in my studio today Claire. Enjoy posting and handing out your Christmas cards and saying with pride "I made you this!".
