Craft On CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

If you arrived here from Megan, welcome! Read on and hop around for heaps of inspiration.

This hop centers on our very last paper collection from Seasonal Expressions 2: Craft On. This is my favorite collection from 2019 so far!

When I saw this packet, I was immediately drawn to it. I'm not a blue fan (QUEENSLANDER!) and yet this packet was calling my name. I decided to use this stitched striped paper to do a monogram for my home.

I used the immense pile of cardstock scraps from my Scrap Box to cut all of these flowers and leaves. I picked whatever colors looked good on the day, not necessarily the coordinating cardstock colors as listed on the paper's zipstrip! 😉

After lots and lots and lots of liquid glass and foam dots, I had my completed piece of home decor. It's housed in a $10 white shadow box frame from Kmart. The picture is of my husband and I at the very end of our first date. We knew at the end of this date that we weren't looking any more, we'd found each other at last. (All together now... 💖Awwwww!💖)

I had plenty of leftover flowers to use, so I created more things!

These cards are the same design with a couple of simple changes. Gotta love our versatile papers and stamps!

I had still more paper leftover so I created some layouts, including this one.

After a search on pinterest for new card ideas, I saw a different one and replicated it with scraps of Craft On.

To make these projects, I used my basic toolkit plus these materials. Click through or contact your consultant to purchase. Basic Toolkit: (Versamat, Trimmer, Scissors, Ruler, Adhesive Runner, Foam Dots, Stamping Starter Kit), White Card Value Pack, Craft On Paper Packet, Exclusive Cardstocks, Angel Policy Stampset, Liquid Glass, Exclusive Inks, MIFYH v3, and Stitched Flowers Thin Cuts. *Retired/discounted/WSL items

I'd love it if you'd leave a comment below and pin my projects before you pop over to see what Doris has created!

Love Letter - done!

I finished my Love Letter kit today!

I started by attaching the rose gold overlay to the chipboard base, then assembled the succulents and flowers, and assembling it all into a finished letter. You'll need a quilling tool, liquid glass, and adhesive runner for assembly. Decorate with pearls, sparkles, or gems!

Tools for assembly.
That's me! Scissors helped with placement of the letters.
Flowers were sponged with different inks.
Nearly done assembling the flowers.
Creased petals added dimension to this flower.

Love Letters are available January 1-31 2018, while supplies last. Get yours today!

Papercrafting for 2018

Good afternoon my lovelies! For those of you in SEQld that love your off the page papercrafting, I have a few exciting workshops coming up!

December's featured project is our stunning 2018 Through The Year Calendar. This projects combines a bit of stamping with 2 different stampsets that can be used on any project, especially useful for my pocket scrappers. It also uses our beautiful fundamentals range of double sided patterned paper, plus gold glitter die cut accents for added sparkle. (More sparkle never hurts, right?) Highlight each month with your choice of photos and when the month is over, use it for a stunning title page in your scrapbook album or frame it as home decor.
This workshop is run twice, once on December 9 and again on December 29. If you'd like to make an extra calendar or two, let me know at time of booking. They make great gifts!

January's featured project is elegant rose gold monogram home decor. It's similar in feel to our Welcome Home Wreath kit from earlier this year. Your choice of letter (A-Z plus &) includes a sturdy chipboard letter base, die cut overlay and flower pieces, sticker sheet, and full color instructions. For added dimension, you can accent your piece with ink daubing, shimmer brushes, or other embellishments you may have in your stash. Have an important function, anniversary, engagement, baby or bridal shower, or reunion coming up? Why not surprise the person of honor with their very own monogram?
This workshop is also run twice, once on January 20 and again on January 21. If you'd like to make letters, let me know at time of booking. They also make great gifts!

For those unable to attend my workshops in person, the Through The Year calendar kit will be available for purchase from December 1 and Love Letters from January 1. Watch my upcoming monthly newsletters for more details and necessary tools required for easy assembly of these projects.

To ensure all workshop kits arrive in time, it is crucial that kit payments be received before the deadlines listed above. I don't want anyone missing out!

As you can imagine, the end of the year will be here in the blink of an eye, including the inevitable delays to the postal system. Carve out time in your diary or planner today, pick which workshop date best suits you, the kit/s you want, and contact me to book your spots. Need more information about my workshops or my payment details? Ask away! While direct deposit is preferred, I also accept credit cards (with an additional processing fee).

Happy crafting!

Welcome Home

Does anything say "Welcome Home!" more than a stunning wreath on your front door?
January is National Papercrafting Month. We don't just do cards or pages, we also do "off the page" projects! Most people put a pretty wreath on their front door for Christmas. The holidays are over and it's time to swap out your decor!

For January only, you can create this beautiful piece of home decor to adorn your home. I have mine on the inside of my front door. If you're getting married this year, this is for you! Whip one up and display at your ceremony or reception to welcome your guests, then put it in your new home as a lasting reminder of your big day! If you're pregnant or have just had a baby, this would be oh so sweet in your bub's nursery! Or, why not create this for a milestone anniversary? The options are endless.

The best part of this kit is not only do YOU decide where to place the succulents and greenery, you pick the wording! First name, last name, a greeting, a blessing, you choose! It's really easy to put together. Don't believe me? Watch this quick video!

There are four ways you can get the wreath kit:
  1. Buy it for $28.50—no qualifying purchase required!
  2. Get it for free with a qualifying $90 purchase!*
  3. Get it for free by hosting a party that reaches the second level of Hostess Rewards.
  4. Get it for free when you sign up to be a Consultant!
To purchase this wreath, click here. You'll also need a quilling tool and liquid glass.

No matter how you get your Welcome Home wreath kit—or how many you get—you are going to love how easy this kit makes it to add a little more papercrafted beauty to your life.
