#9 - Julep 12" x 12" Everyday Life™ Album.

What is it?
A soft, stitched, 12"x12" faux leather album with 1" O-rings for quick and easy album making. A finished album size of 15" × 13¼" × 1½" means this will nicely fit on the same shelf as our Post-bound and D-ring albums, and with other sizes of Everyday Life albums!

Four sizes for any project size you can imagine!

How much is it?
$44 + shipping

What's different about this Everyday Life™album to the other 12"x12" Albums available?
This album is faux leather with O-rings. It is the same ring style as our 6"x8" Everyday Life™ albums we've had for a few years now.

My favorite part about it?
This size is perfect for albums when you don't have enough pages to fill a Post-bound or D-ring album. The O-rings are also easy to open and close which makes adding pages a breeze.

What else is needed to use this album?
Completed 12x12 scrapbook pages, Top Load or Side Load Memory Protectors™. That's it! I suggest the Reasons to Smile kit for a great starter option with this album. Memories layout

This month got off to a rocky start. My husband's grandmother died very quickly. We had two trips to country Queensland in a week to say our goodbyes and then to farewell her with a beautiful graveside and church services.

My family does crazy pretty well by now. This isn't the first family funeral I've been to! I took pictures to remember the day by and made this layout to feature them. Scrapbooking a funeral might sound a bit morbid to you. To me, it's a family occasion that should be remembered for what it is, saying our earthly goodbyes to our beloved Nanni.

Out of respect for the clan, I've not put the completed layout up to view. Grief is a very private matter and it's not my place to share such moments publicly without permission.

To make this layout I've used the following materials. Falling For You paper packet, Basics cardstocks, White Daisy cardstock, Trimmer, Versamat, Adhesive Runner, Ruler, Make It From Your Heart volume 2 pattern 7.

After continued work with our manufacturers who are producing our much-anticipated Workspace Wonder™ organisational products, we have now been able to receive the quality of product that we have expected. The process has been slower than anticipated due to various setbacks, including a typhoon that damaged the factory in Taiwan where these are being produced. We are continuing to get production up to speed, but anticipate being able to make these products available before the end of the month. It is likely that we will run out of stock of some components before we are able to restock sufficiently, but we will work hard to stay ahead of demand for these items. If any of the components do run out of stock, rather than being back-ordered, that component will immediately be made unavailable to order until we receive additional stock.

Pocket Scrapbooking

Pocket scrapbooking is all the rage these days. You'll see it in stores, on blogs, instagram, pinterest, and in my own albums.

You may be wondering "what is it?" Put simply, pocket scrapbooking is a simple style/method of scrapbooking. You have an album, a couple sets of pocket pages, a kit of pocket cards, and photos. You put the pages in the album, then your photos in the pages, and finish off with some pocket cards and journaling.

This is the 12x12 Lagoon Chevron D-Ring Album, Memory Protector Pages, and the Love Your Selfie Card Kit.

That's it! Scrapbooking. Simple. Quick. Streamlined. Easy. You can do it! Of course, if you want to embellish your cards, you can. Stickers, shimmer trim, twine, sequins, you name it.

There's multiple sizes of pocket pages and albums with Close to my Heart. The main size is 12x12 pages with a handful of page designs (featuring 3x4 and 4x6 pockets). This size is best for doing full albums for any theme, or mixing with traditional pages within an album (which is what I do).

These pages come from the Memory Protector Variety Pack.

There's also 4x4, 4x6 and 6x8 designs! These are better for smaller projects or gifts. Think birthday parties, thank you gifts for bridal party members or parents, brag books, making into recipe books, etc. They're also good for business people looking to store their samples of fabric, nail wraps (like Jamberry), or other goods. The list is endless!

One of my sister consultants out in WA uses the 4x4 Instalife album and pages to store alongside her essential oils. What a clever use for a small album, right?

This 4x6 My Creations™ Mini Book was turned into a Christmas gift for my husband featuring pictures of a Lego exhibition he was presenting at. (You can see the entire project here.) I tucked a Lego gift card in the back before wrapping it up.

These little wirebound hardcover books are not expandable in the traditional sense (you can't add pages). What you CAN do is add a variety of Flip Flaps to expand the capacity!

The newest size is 6x8. The Everyday Life album cover and pocket pages feature everything you love about pocket scrapping in a nice portable size. I've added a few pocket pages to my planner to hold treasured photos. You can also turn it into a photo album on its own! Planner Day

Today's planner task: stamp waterglasses on my pages.

When I drink down my water bottle? I color in one glass with my blue pen. When I drink down a smoothie? My purple pen. Coffee? My orange pen (I don't have a brown one).

The 8 boxes combined with my pens makes easy tracking of my fluid intake. While it's blessedly cooler today in SEQld, I need to drink my water. How do you track your fluid intake?
